Professional Inservices
Providing exceptional therapy over the length of a career requires continuous learning and growth. I’m always looking to learn from my network of peers and associates, and have been fortunate enough to provide a variety of inservice sessions to other therapists and service providers. Some example sessions include “What is speech-language therapy and when should I refer?”, “The foundations of communication for the 0-3 population”, “Classroom tips for children with auditory and language processing difficulties.”
Expert Advice and Content
While most interactions with speech-language pathologists occur between clients, caregivers, or colleagues, a deep understanding of the development of communication and how to improve outcomes can have a wide variety of useful applications outside of the therapeutic setting. I can help you, your company or your organization design a curriculum, develop expert content, or simply understand and describe how the human brain works when trying to communicate in various scenarios.
